." At 5' 2", I was stressed that gun barrel pants would certainly overload my tiny frame (as wide-leg slacks usually perform). However it turns out that this style is perfect I don't need to piping them (as I often concern pants that don't have a much shorter inseam), and also the understated bent shape of these denims makes me appear means taller than I am actually (magic!). This pair especially is so comfy, though I would certainly encourage sizing down if, like me, you reside in between sizes, as they rest lower-waisted than anticipated.In regards to designing, I would like to resist the slouchy, big energy of the denims with some exciting, contacts (and play off the cool star-patch pattern). Thus, rather than combining all of them with a chunkier shoe silhouette, I selected my favorite ballet flats (which suddenly matched my cardigan), and a form-fitting child tee that doesn't challenge the bagginess of the slacks.
